Ally Pankiw got her start directing music videos for artists like Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, and Janelle Monae and dipped her toes into the small screen as a story editor on “Schitt’s Creek,” before making her big break into TV with “Feel Good,” where she directed the entire debut season. Her burgeoning career is the prime example of what happens when hard work and maintaining your vision meet golden opportunity.
Mae Martin is the creator, writer, and star of “Feel Good.” The show is a hilarious and raw semi-autobiographical story of navigating addiction, love, and the fluidity of sexuality. As a triple threat on the critically acclaimed series, the Canadian comedian is definitely a name to keep an eye on.
