Partnering with FREE THE WORK, imagineNATIVE's Futurisms panel and playlist screening brings together works by Indigenous, Afro-Indigenous, and Black artists celebrating the intersections of Afrofuturism and Indigenous futurism through creative resilience and future tellings unbound by time.

Curated by Teineisha Richards (Mi'kmaq), the Futurisms playlist highlights the depictions of current and future issues and the harsh reality around their impacts. It speaks to the nature of human adaptation/evolution, the strength in unity amongst the oppressed, and the significance of ancestral teachings. It shows the impacts on the people once lost and forgotten, or their growth in strength once remembered and found.

Catch the panel, then stick around for the screening.

PANEL GOES LIVE APRIL 15, 2021 at 1 PM PDT/4 PM EDT.

**Playlist available to view from 12:00pm EDT April 15-22, 2021**
